My Bio
A little bit about me.
I was born on July 9th,,1982 in Denver Colorado.. My family lived in a small town called Frisco, and my mom started a dance studio in the town mall. My Mom told me, that when I was a baby, if music was playing, I would not stop dancing till it stopped. So I guess dancing was in my blood. I started dancing at the age of 3, and my mom was my first dance teacher. I started in ballet, jazz, and tap. My family moved to Utah when I was 5 and I went right back to dancing. I was not introduced to ballroom until I was 12 , and after seeing my first Latin ballroom competition, I knew that was something I would love to do. I danced all the time and my school life was just studying and not a very social one. When I got to high school I would go to school till noon, then I would go straight to the dance studio and train in ballroom for 2 hours, with the rest of the day spent working in other dance forms. I still train in jazz, tap, ballroom, and lyrical, which is my favorite. So there is a little bit about my dancing. I started teaching dance when I was 16 to 5-10 year olds. I love teaching kids. My Family means so much to me. I come from a family of 8 kids. I have 2 older brothers, 1 older sister, and 4 younger sisters. They are all my best friends. My parents are the hardest working team. My Dad is so amazing. He has always been my biggest fan, and the best dad in the world. He doesn’t dance, but he sure can play the air guitar better than anyone I know, and the best Papa John to my niece and nephews. My mom is the hardest working mom I know. She has eight kids, and runs one of the top studios in the US, she is the best dance teacher for children in the world. She truly is superwoman. I have 1 niece and 5 nephews. They are the cutest kids. I love being with my family. Some of my favorite things to do other than dancing are learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ, experiencing the outdoors, finding out new talents, and hanging out with my friends. My fiancé and I are in the beginning processes of writing our book and I have started a new business in the health and wellness industry. Life seems to get more and more exciting and I can’t wait to find out what the future holds.
